  • He Played for many leading clubs in India like East Bengal and Md.Sporting at Kolkatta, Dempo Goa, Mahindra United, Mumbai and F.C. Kochin Kerala.
  • He is one of the two Indian Footballer, other than Bhaichung Bhutia, to
    be top scorers in the National Football League, a remarkable fete that finds a place in the LIMCA Guninness Book of records.
  • Raman Vijayan was fondly nicknamed as the “GOLDEN BOY of INDIAN
    FOOTBALL” for his expertise at scoring winners in crucial games.
  • On a Coaching front, Raman is an AFC A License Holder and was the former assistant coach of Delhi Dynamos in ISL.
  • In order to fulfill his dream of making Tamilnadu,the best football state in India,he started Noble football academy in 2009 for under privileged students.
  • In 2016, he started a professional football academy named RAMAN VIJAYAN SOCCER SCHOOL at Avigna Celeste, Mahindra World City, Chennai.
